has been providing quality, dependable Funnels through automotive stores, hardware stores, agricultural and equipment dealers, truck stops, motorcycle shops, chainsaw chops, rv stations, snowmobile stores, aircraft dealers, all terrain shops, generator stores - you get the picture. All the places that provide services and sell to people running gas and oil fired equipment, all needing a simple solution to keeping their work and play area clean.
This is the world's First
Funnel with a cap on top and bottom to keep your funnels clean after
each use. How do we know?
We invented and patented it!
Besides keeping your funnel
clean, you get the added (and essential) advantage of keeping your work
area clean and safe. If you've worked around equipment for very long,
you know what a hassle it can be when you drip oil or other fluids from
your funnel - let alone how dangerous it can be to yourself and others.
An oil slick is just
inviting a fall with its attendant injuries and possible liabilities.
Simply put the caps back on after filling your equipment, bottle,
barrel or what ever, set the funnel aside and go about your business,
secure in the knowledge that next time you need your funnel, it will be
clean and ready to go for your next project. And your work area will
remain clean and safe as well.
Yep, I've been looking for something like this.... I want to buy some!
Hoyt Pattison, (click on the link and let him tell you the story - or read on...) inventor of
the Clean Funnel®, is a dry land farmer from Clovis, New Mexico. He grew
up in the farming business and continues to farm even now because it's
his passion. He loves to be out in the fresh, clean New Mexican air
continuing the family tradition. I guess you could say it's in his
blood. Hoyt, who owns several pieces of valuable farm equipment, knows
the importance of maintaing that valuable equipment by changing out all
the different oils and fluids, keeping it in top operating condition.
As they say, Necessity is the Mother of Invention. And it's true! With
all that equipment and all the work he had to do to keep up with it
all, Hoyt is one of those guys who is always looking for a better, more
efficient way to do things - to just plain work smarter. I guess you
could say that good old common sense reared up and smacked him between
the ears one day when he went to change his tractor oil. First thing he
had to do was clean out an old, grimy funnel. This time, the funnel was
worse than usual. The previous oil that he had used was transmission
oil - a heavier weight oil than the motor oil - and it had gotten sand
embedded in it. It took a bit longer than usual to clean out and he had
a heck of a time getting all the grit completely out of the spout.
That's when he had his epiphany - his "light bulb" moment. If he had
just had a way to cap off the funnel, he wouldn't have to be dealing
with the hassle of cleaning out his funnel. The time required to clean
the funnel could be better spent doing more important work. Most
important of all, Hoyt knew that he just couldn't take a chance on
letting any grit or dirt get into the engines, transmissions or
hydraulic lines of his valuable equipment. Just a speck of sand can
spell disaster to this high priced, absolutely necessary equipment.
With crops to plant, holes to dig, roads to grade and wood to cut,
there just isn't time for down time. Broken equipment means not only
down time but lost productivity and lost wages. What's more, any excess fluid
could just be saved inside the funnel until next time, saving even more
valuable time.
Hoyt got down to figuring out just how to best make the
funnel and how to be able to put a cap on the top and bottom. Just like
any inventor, he made several prototypes, adjusting the top and bottom
openings and experimenting with different lengths. Because of all the
different types of equipment on just his farm, Hoyt realized that one
size doesn't fit all, therefore he would design and fabricate a variety
of funnels to fit many different applications. Hoyt gave several of the
funnels flexible spouts to be able to reach those hard to get to filler
ports that weren't designed with the end user in mind. Hoyt was able to
come up with 10 different models to fit most any need around the home
or ranch that a person might have. The caps, if lost, can be replaced
by standard caps found around the house, ranch or place of business. No need to special
order caps.
And I don't even have to worry about losing the caps? I want to buy some!

Clean Funnel® is the best idea since the wheel. For every machine with a wheel you can use a Clean Funnel® . I've been selling them for years. Put them on your counter & just show them to your customers and they will sell themselves . Best damn funnel on the market.

-Earl Madrid, C&H Equipment, Muleshoe, TX
The Clean Funnel® is the best thing that ever happened to the implement business. It keeps the dirt out of the engines and hydraulic systems with it's covers.
-Jim Brown's Power, Tulia, TX
Clean Funnels® are the best funnel on the market. Customers love the easy clean up. Our shop uses them every day. Best selling product on the counter.
-Robbie Barrett, Wood Jordan, Earth, TX
Now that our patent has run out - It's only good for 20 years - Our funnels are so well respected by people who demand quality tools that other companies are now copying our funnels and having them made in China (We all know that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!) We continue to make our funnels right here in the U.S.A.
And now, by keeping our manufacturing right here in the U.S., we're able to sell our funnels at prices well below our competitors who have "gone offshore" and are now having to pay the high cost of freight to get their knock-offs into our country. And we pass that savings on to you. After all, we're all in this together so we have to look out for each other.
The body of our funnel is made from high density polyethylene (HDPE) and the caps are made from polypropylene (PP). The design of the funnel makes them strong. They are meant to last and will be a part of your tool collection for a long time. Our mainstay is repeat business. That tells us that we are doing it right!
I've been looking for a quality funnel like this to keep my work area clean and safe. I want to buy some!
